Art Pete Pete Ashton is (becoming) an artist

Flyposted print

A new limited edition print is the shop:

Flyposted

This is a montage of six images taken at the end of a shoot in Digbeth yesterday. I was out on the hunt for graffiti, which is not hard in Digbeth but I was really looking for interesting details that would work well as TTV prints, along the lines of this or this. Having gathered a fair few I decided to process the above first to get into the flow, but they turned out rather better than I was expecting and became my second limited edition montage print.

I’m doing this one as an 18 by 12 inch print limited to 20 copies for £40. Ordering details are here. And if you fancy commenting or favouriting it on Flickr that’d be grand.

If you want to see the “original work” it’s just behind the bus stop before you get to Gibb St and the Custard Factory itself. But hurry. It’ll look completely different in a few weeks.

About

Art-Pete is the blog of Pete Ashton when he's thinking about art. It primarily contains photos and videos of work he's completed in this quest. The majority of his writing occurs on his main blog.

Through 2010 this blog was the home of TTV Pete where I talked about and sold my Through The Viewfinder photos. That stuff is still in the archives but I've moved on. Through 2011 this blog was a little confused but I think I've figured it out now.
