The Handmade Market has been running in the Custard Factory for a few months now with varying degrees of success but this weekend moves up the road into the main shopping area of Birmingham on Edgbaston Street between the markets and the Bullring, just about here:

And it’s not just a one-off. The market plans to run every weekend, Saturday and Sunday, until Christmas. So along with the (newly renamed) This Is Birmingham shop due to open in November and other things I don’t know of or have forgotten about there are few reasons to buy mass produced tat this Winter.
I’m planning to support this venture as much as I can over the next month. Due to prior commitments I can’t make every weekend but I’ll be there this Sunday and on five of the September dates. See the Shops and Markets page for all my scheduled appearances.
While Handmade launches on Saturday I won’t be there because I’ll be at the Moseley Art Market. Unfortunately, due to a wedding and the Supersonic Festival, this will be my last Moseley stall til November 27th’s MegaBigMarket so if you can’t tear yourself away from B13 don’t miss Saturday.
