Art Pete Pete Ashton is (becoming) an artist

Talking to the Yardley Photography Society

At the Moseley Art Market this weekend a chap came up and asked if I was Pete Ashton. I certainly am, I replied. He was Peter Jackson from the Yardley Photographic Society and he was interested in having me give a talk about my work.

Well golly, I said. I’d love to! And so it was.

I’m booked to talk at their regular weekend meeting on Tuesday 14th September from 7.45 – 10.00pm. I think he said there’s a nominal fee, something like £2, to cover costs.

The meeting’s take place at The Trust School, Church Road, Yardley, B33 8PB, next door to St Edburgha’s Church. Google Map I think it’s this building:

B33%208PB%20-%20Google%20Maps

which looks worthy of a visit anyway.

I’ve just clocked that I have to talk for two hours about my photography.

Blimey.

About

Art-Pete is the blog of Pete Ashton when he's thinking about art. It primarily contains photos and videos of work he's completed in this quest. The majority of his writing occurs on his main blog.

Through 2010 this blog was the home of TTV Pete where I talked about and sold my Through The Viewfinder photos. That stuff is still in the archives but I've moved on. Through 2011 this blog was a little confused but I think I've figured it out now.
