Art Pete Pete Ashton is (becoming) an artist

TTV Twitter Plans

ttv_fail_whaleA few months back, when I was messing about with the notion of doing what I’m doing now, I set up Tumblr blog to pump out a TTV picture every day. This was hooked up to a Twitter account and an email subscription service for no other reason than I could do so really easily. It wasn’t a huge success mainly because I didn’t put any effort into promoting it and I’ve let the Tumblr blog go fallow. The Twitter account, on the other hand, has potential.

So far I’ve been using my @peteashton for news about my TTV activities which makes sense as I’ve built up a good 2000 or so followers on that over the last few years. But the vast majority of those people didn’t start following me to be informed of my obsession with experimental photography (or whatever this is) and while they might have tolerated me so far they’re likely to get bored sooner than later.

So rather like moving my TTV blogging from peteashton.com to here I’ll be doing the same on Twitter, positing biggish TTV-related news on @peteashton while the majority of my updates and witterings go to @ttvpete.

You can follow one or the other or both (I’ll try not to duplicate) or neither. The choice is yours.

About

Art-Pete is the blog of Pete Ashton when he's thinking about art. It primarily contains photos and videos of work he's completed in this quest. The majority of his writing occurs on his main blog.

Through 2010 this blog was the home of TTV Pete where I talked about and sold my Through The Viewfinder photos. That stuff is still in the archives but I've moved on. Through 2011 this blog was a little confused but I think I've figured it out now.
