Kathy Hinde on open scores, rules and group improvisation

Over the last few months I’ve seen and read a lot of inspirational stuff, so much that it’s been hard to pin down exactly where certain ideas came from. Kathy Hinde was one of the people who spoke at If Wet and while I knew she’d been great I didn’t realise exactly how influential she’d been on my thinking until this video of essentially the same talk at Nesta’s Futurefest was passed my way. I’d highly recommend watching it, not just because Kathy is ploughing some really interesting fields but also as a coherent snapshot of where some of my work is heading.

(If Wet is on this Sunday. I’ll be there.)
